Wentworth West Club

Wentworth Club is one of the most prestigious golf clubs in the UK, located in Virginia Water, Surrey. The club has three courses, but the West Course is the most famous and was designed by Harry Colt in 1926. The course has a beautiful parkland layout with tree-lined fairways, undulating greens and water hazards. The course has undergone several renovations and updates over the years, including a recent restoration in 2016 by renowned golf course architect, Ernie Els.

The West Course at Wentworth Club is the host of the BMW PGA Championship, which is one of the most prestigious events on the European Tour. The championship has been held at the West Course since 1984 and has seen many notable winners, including Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie, Rory McIlroy, and Francesco Molinari. In addition to the BMW PGA Championship, the West Course has also hosted the World Match Play Championship, the HSBC World Match Play Championship, and the Ryder Cup in 1953.
