Shoreacres

Shoreacres is a private golf club located in Lake Bluff, Illinois, United States. The golf course was founded in 1916 by a group of Chicago businessmen who were seeking to create a top-tier golf course. The course was designed by renowned golf course architect Seth Raynor and features his signature "template" holes, which mimic famous holes from other courses around the world.

Shoreacres has hosted a number of significant golf events over the years, including the Western Open and the US Senior Open. Notable accomplishments at Shoreacres include Arnold Palmer's victory in the Western Open in 1963, and Hale Irwin's win at the US Senior Open in 1998. The course is known for its challenging layout, beautiful views of Lake Michigan, and classic design elements.
