Saunton East Golf

Saunton East Golf Course is located in Devon, England, and is part of the Saunton Golf Club. The course was designed by Herbert Fowler in 1897 and has since undergone several changes. Saunton East is a traditional links course that provides a challenging test of golf for players of all levels. It features fast-running fairways, deep bunkers, and undulating greens.

Saunton East has hosted several notable tournaments over the years, including the Brabazon Trophy in 2010 and the English Men's Amateur Championship in 2013. It is also a Final Qualifying course for the Open Championship, with several Open winners having played at Saunton East during qualifying rounds. Notable accomplishments include English golfer Matthew Fitzpatrick winning the Brabazon Trophy at Saunton East in 2012 before going on to win the US Amateur Championship later that year.
