Renaissance Club

Renaissance Club

The Renaissance Club is a golf course located on the scenic coastline of East Lothian in Scotland. It was founded in 2008 and was designed by renowned golf course architect Tom Doak. The 18-hole course is built on a former agricultural land and features wide-open fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and challenging greens that provide golfers with an unforgettable experience.

The Renaissance Club has been host to several notable golf events, including the Scottish Open, which is part of the European Tour. The club also hosts the annual Simpson Cup, a Ryder Cup-style tournament that features injured veterans from the United States and Great Britain. Additionally, the club is a qualifying venue for The Open Championship, one of the four major golf championships.

In 2019, the Renaissance Club made history when its member, Justin Thomas, won the BMW Championship, making him the first golfer to win the tournament twice in three years. The club's commitment to sustainable and responsible golf course management has also been recognized by Golf Environment Organization, which awarded the club its GEO Certified® label.
