Pinehurst Resort

Pinehurst Resort is a historic golf destination located in the Sandhills region of North Carolina, United States. The resort was founded in 1895 by James W. Tufts, a Boston philanthropist who envisioned a grand resort that would offer visitors a healthy lifestyle through golf and other outdoor activities.

Pinehurst No. 2, one of the resort's nine courses, was designed by Donald Ross, a Scottish golf course architect who is considered one of the greatest designers of all time.
