County Sligo Golf

County Sligo Championship Golf Club, also known as Rosses Point, is located in northwest Ireland on the Atlantic coast. The course was established in 1894 and has undergone several renovations since then, with the latest one being completed in 2020.

It is a challenging links course that has hosted several notable competitions, including the West of Ireland Amateur Championship, which has been held at the course since 1923. The club has also hosted the Irish Close Championship, the Irish PGA Championship, and the Irish Seniors Amateur Open Championship.

County Sligo Championship Golf Club has produced several notable golfers, including the 2010 US Open champion Graeme McDowell, who is a member of the club.
